Default power for tcc

since my car (mustang) sends power when the brake switched is pressed i was going to use a relay to control the tcc. pin 30 power, pin 87a would be for the tcc, not use 87, ground for 85 and power from my brake switch to pin 86 which will engage the relay taking power away from 87a and switch it to 87.

is there an easier way besides making a bracket to use the factory Fbody switch?

thanks, rich.

it is the torque converter clutch. i assume he has a lockup converter if he is having the problem. i know what i said will work i was just wondering if there was an easier way and im not sure if i want to hear a realy click everytime i step on the brakes (assuming it is even audible over the exhaust if i put it in the passenger side kick panel)

In that case a relay or switching the switch are your only options. The relay will work the way you wired it up. You could also use a microswitch from radioshack for the TCC switch, but that would require fabbing a bracket just like the camaro switch. I would probably just use the relay.
