that was me, and thanks for the kind words. i was there doing the drift exhibitions and got my 15 seconds of fame on tv talking to the chick with the saggy fake knockers.
i built the car in just under 3 weeks to have it ready for that event. finished the swap and started the car friday afternoon, immediately drove it an hour to atlanta for alignment and vinyl, then another hour to the track on saturday morning to start beating on it. blew the motor sunday while doing the 1st demo and that ended my weekend. it's not rebuilt with an LS6 cam and some other minor upgrades, and it is quick to say the least. i actually can't wait to hit the dragstrip this season for the first time in forever.

it's been fixed for a while now. done two events since the rebuild and it's still nice and solid
. and yes, drifting is a blast. i have a ton of fun with it and it's relatively cheap to get into. Trending Topics

it's great other than the low redline. i'd like to find a taller rear end for it and up the limiter closer to 7k but right now i'm just happy driving it as-is.

that's Rhys Millen, and he's basically done with that car now. his new car for this year is a turbocharged and highly modified Solstice. he should've put an Lsx in the solstice though, he's blown about 3 of the 4cyl motors so far in testing from what i've heard.
