Help! Mate LS1 to Audi trannny

Hi,
does anyone know of anyone successfully mating an Audi Transaxle to an LS1?

There are lots of references on the net to that setup but I havn't been able to track anyone down

Kennedy Engineering says there is interference with the starter....

Any leads?

Try advance adapters. They might not have exactly what you need, but can make anything or can point you in a better direction.

What Audi trans are you looking to put a LS1 to. Are you putting a LS1 into a Audi or using the trans for a kit car?

Why not just scrap it and run a 60 behind it. The driveshaft will be easier than trying to mate the two in compatible transmissions. Then if it dies when it's finished you are double screwed.
