For a hp street driver I'm going to go the stock manifold route. Ive been kicking around a set of headers from JTR they are a hair cheaper than current performance. But 25.00 vs 330 is a good persuader.

what is LT headers?pic or link?...I'll have to ask Jared about the 1 3/4 headders,havent heard about those yet....I know i need longtubes for that kind of power 67pete,but damn,Ill have to sell one of the kids for them as much as they are..lmao,

Damn,i feel like an idiot!........LT,longtubes..duh!,,,,,,,,,,,,talked to currant performance,they are going to try and make a set of longtubes or midtubes for our trucks some time in the future!!!!!!YAY!

Are the o2 bungs installed in the headers from current performance or are they field installed further down stream.

The ones he has now,1 1/2 tubes,I havent seen a 02 bung on them anywhere,they might be there but havent seen any with them

Dunno, but installing O2 bungs are a piece of cake though. Buy some bungs from Summit (they're around $5 each), drill a hole where you want it (I prefer a Unibit), and weld them in place (or have somebody do it). Fairly easy and that way you get the bungs where you want them. But it is easier if the headers come with bungs already installed.

I just picked up a set of 2001 Z06 manifolds for my project. The first thing I want to do is try and smooth them up on the inside and help them flow some. I am not sure there are any headers out there for a C3 LS1 swap so this is it for now. What can you tell me about these manifolds?

You're right. I have some connections on this stuff, and I often forget the street prices on it. 775 dollars will pay a decent shop to custom build you a set of long tubes.
