Default Another harness question

Ok after hours and hours of thread reviews I decided to get a painless harness, for various reasons.
1. My cost was pretty good.
2. Shipping cost offset
3. came with a vats module
4. I will try to sell my harness (ebay)
I only gave those reasons to avoid the, you should have just baught a speartech or others. (great products though from what I hear)

Nowe to my question. I am more or less looking for confirmation. This is a 4L60E.
The harness came wired for
air pump, egr, air bleed, skip shift, reverse lock out, canister purge, and canister vent. I removed these wires, as they are not needed.
Then I took the relays for the air solenoid and air pump and hooked up the fan outputs to them for the fans.
Since they already had power ran to them (86,87) I just used the PCM fan outputs to (85) and the the 30 will go to the actual fan. Does that make sense? Does to me, but what do I know, DOH!

Something I just noticed. The PCM fan outputs are grounds. Will that change the configuration of the relay? Looks like it should change to
85 switched 12v
86 pcm fan output
87 to the fan
30 12volt constant

Ok well I just read the sticky about the fans. Hell, I don't know how I missed that but I am glad it's there.

Lastly behind the intake manifold there is still an unplugged sensor. There is the cam position, knock, map and then a tall unused sensor. What is it?

The more I look at this thing, the complicated I make it.

I appreciate the help.

That first part is a little confusing to me, the numbering scheme is different, but if it is wired like that it should work. Traditionally pin 86 on the relay is ground and pin 85 supplies + voltage from whatever triggers it, but the relay will work if 85 is ground and 86 is the trigger. Usually the + Supply voltage for the load is input on terminal 30 and the load is put on pin 87, but it will also work if you switch those two.

If the sensor that you are talking about has a one pin connection it is the oil pressure sensor, it is not needed, it just for the pressure gauge in the dash.

oil pressure?

Here's how I wired my fans, based on the diagrams in the stickies. This gives two speeds to the fans by running them in series for low speed. I wired my terminal 85's to IGN power instead of BAT because I don't like surprises.

Relay 5 cooling fan # 1 – Left fan
Terminal 85 Hot in start or run
Terminal 86 To pin J of connector C100
Terminal 30 To 20A fuse and battery voltage
Terminal 87 To Left cooling Fan pin B

Relay 6 cooling fan # 2 – Right fan
Terminal 85 Hot in start or run
Terminal 86 To pin H of connector C100 AND Terminal 86 of FAN3 relay
Terminal 30 To 20A fuse and battery voltage
Terminal 87 To Right cooling Fan pin B AND Terminal 87a of FAN3 relay

Relay 7 cooling fan # 3 – speed control
Terminal 85 Hot in start or run
Terminal 86 To pin H of connector C100 AND Terminal 86 of FAN2 relay
Terminal 30 To Left cooling Fan pin A
Terminal 87 To 20A Ground
Terminal 87a To Right cooling Fan pin B AND Terminal 87 of FAN2 relay
