evap cannister i'm putting an LS1 in a 35 chevy sedan. i'm using the stock fuel tank but i made a well for the fuel pump unit from an LS1 to set in. my question is do i need to use the evap cannister? if not do i just make a loop on the fuel pump between the 2 lines? also what do i do about the evap solenoid p on the motor? thanx in advance for your response.

IIRC the f-body pump/sending unit has 3 lines, a fuel pressure feed, a return to the intank regulator which must be T`ed into the feed, and the EVAP line.
You do not need to use the EVAP canister or purge valve. They will help reduce emissions, and there will be less chance that the car will smell like gasoline if you vent the tank through a charcoal canister. If you decide to get rid of them make sure to vent the tank somehow, remove the EVAP solenoid from the intake and block the hole, and then make sure the EVAP codes are deleted from the computer or you will get a check engine light.
