Coolant temp LIGHT sensor available?

Coolant temp LIGHT sensor available? I want to put in a water temperature sending unit for an "idiot" light (say what you will).
The old SBC type temperature sensor has two or three problems for use in this engine: It's much shorter than the LS1 type gauge sensor, wrong threads, and I don't know that the turn-on temperature would be appropriate for this engine (LR4 iron block / aluminum heads).
Is there an appropriate temp sensor switch available?
