Default LS Fuel Pump Question

I have a 98 trans AM LS1 going into my 57 Chevy and a buddy of mine had this new 02 Z28 Fuel pump I got CHEEP. My problem is I don’t know which lines are which, The parts house is no use of course other than the print out. That shows the regulator is built in unlike the corvette pumps I’m familiar with where the regulator is built into the fuel filter.

So if the regulator is in the pump why are there 3 lines?
# is out fuel
# to purge canister
#?

Will I need to change out the plug on the fuel rail because it's a 98 Trans AM Rail? If memory serves all of them are dummy plugs with the exception of 97-98 vettes and the trucks.

(I thought the number might help keep us from getting confused)

1 goes to the pressue regulator in the pump assembly
2. is purge
3. is fuel out.

Tee the pressure line once it is out, one then goes to the fuel rails and the other goes to the regulator in the pump assembly. No need for a Corvette style filter with a regulator.
