Gen III LS1/LS6 engine swap

Gen III LS1/LS6 engine swap We are in the process of swapping an bored and stroked LS1 engine into my GMC Sierra K1500 pickup truck. If anyone can offer any assistance it would be greatly appreciated. Here is what I know of the configuration so far. Cylinders are bored and Eagle stroked to 408CI, L92 heads, JE pistons, I'll post more as it becomes available.
We are wondering if we can utilize the stock computer in the truck or should we upgrade it as well. i am worried about all the sensors, dash gages, cruise control, tunability. We removed a Whipplecharged 5.7L Vortec so I am interested in a LOT of HP. I have been looking into the AutoTap FlashScan Commercial Scan & Tune but not sure if it will work with the stock computer. I am not opposed to swapping the computer just need some assistance.
I'll post some pictures of the engine build as soon as I can.

I'd use the LS1 computer, HPTuners, and hit the HPTuners forum http://www.hptuners.com/forum/ . It's going to be all about tuning it, especially with it being modified.

I am considering having them make me a custom wire harness for the truck, 4L60E, and engine listed above. I havent been able to find too many people that do this, probably why this company is 6+ weeks out for the creation of a harness.
