Default PCM 4X4 Signal....
I'm swaping a 1998 Vortec 454 and 4L80-E into my 1989 Silverado. I am useing the stock 89 transfer case and am wondering if the PCM really needs a 4X4 engaged signal.

All it does is modify the shift points when it is in 4 low. So no not really needed to function.
