Default heater hose water flow direction

I am needing to hook up my Vintage Air system to to my 5.3 & have to determine which water pump heater hose outlet does the water flow out of? I have searched this forum, but no luck. Can anybody provide this info?
Thanks

Not sure which is which, but....

They're 2 different sizes. 1 is sized for 5/8" hose, other is for 3/4". Heater cores are usually set up the same way (1 5/8", 1 3/4"). Plumb them together (5/8 to 5/8, 3/4 to 3/4) and you should be good.

If your heater core isn't like that, then you'll need more advice.

5/8 would be the hot side (out on the water pump), and 3/4 (in on the water pump) would be the cold side.

out on the waterpump is the one towards the back...
