Corvette vs. GTO front accessories

Corvette vs. GTO front accessories I've found some info about how f-body and vette accessory pulley's are not interchangeable. Does anyone know if the alternator and bracket from a LS1 vette will work on a GTO LS1?
In a word, no. The GTO stuff is spaced out farther than the vette; stuff from an f-body will work, though. You could always space the bracket out from the motor, but it needs to move a pretty good distance off on the head (.800" if I remember right.)
You could always use a vette balancer, too.
Basically there are three depths, from nearest to block to farthest: Corvette/CTSv, f-body/GTO and truck. So long as you have one depth for all accessories you're in good shape.
For example, on the '68 Camaro I am building if has an f-body alternator and PS pump, but a GTO A/C compressor.
As a side note, the CTSv is arranged like the f-body and GTO, but closer to the block like vette stuff.

Thanks. That helps. My problem is that I'm probably going to have to relocate my a/c compressor and alternator to a high mount so they don't hit the frame. Know of any options that are cheaper than buying a fancy pulley set from March or others?
