Problems dropping 03 LS6 crate motor into 98 TA? What problems will I encounter dropping a brand new 03 LS6 motor in my 98 WS6? A few things I think may not be compatible:
Power steering stuff
A/C related items
Difference in oil pumps
Anyone done this before, or know of someone who did? I'd really like to know what I'll run into while doing the swap. Thanks!

Re: Problems dropping 03 LS6 crate motor into 98 TA? I think you are going to have to switch the throttle bodies in order to use your existing pedal assembly unless you want to go with "throttle by wire" as the new Zo6's and corvettes have in which case you would need to use the LS6 ECM.

Make sure you get the non-vette oil pan!
You might be able to get the power steering on there-doesn't it just bolt to the head? If so ls6 heads swap fine so you could be ok.
Hope your wiring is pretty close.
