Default 700R4 behind ls1

I'm sure this has been covered before but have done a search with no results. I have a friend who is putting an LS1 in a 66 nova using a 99 pcm. My question is how is the best way to pick up a vss signal and what problems can we expect to have electric wise to make a 700R4 work??? I realize we have to put a hub extension on front of torque converter. What else are we missing??

Since the bracket for the TV cable, and the hookup for the TV cable are absent on all gen III intakes, I'd try Lokar on that one.

VSS should be simple enough. Install reluctor ring on output; install tailhousing (if different) and sender from a 94-up f-body application. Probably can use B-body application tailhousing which will give you a trans. mount in TH400 location.
