Default Oil pressure sender help!!

I tried searching for this problem and I couldn't find it so I'll just post my question here and hope for an answer. I'm just having trouble hooking up my 3rd gen oil pressure sender into my ls1 block. The new (4th gen) oil pressure sender has different impedance then the 3rd gen's so I can't use that one. Basically, my question is..what sort of adapter do I use to make my 3rd gen pressure sender fit into my ls1 block. As anyone else dealt with this issue? I keep getting told wrong hole sizes and metric/standard thread sizes
Any suggestions and help are appreciated.

They make adapter to go from the 12mm to NPT. Search on oil senders adapter.. but this thread will help. Equus is the brand.

What I did was just break off the sender part from the lower metal, then just use it as an adapter, Drilled it out and tapped it to the correct size thread of my Chevelle (1/8" npt) sender.

You can also adapte it to the adapter plate above the oil filter.
