Project LS2 OK guys i wanted to see if i could get a little insight on this. Currently i own a 95 L32 Camaro the body is in excellent shape, and the transmission is brand new. the engine has about 120k on it. my idea is to pick up an LS2 engine and have it put in. im really trying to get an idea for pricing as i know this is going to get real pricey real quick. ive heard from a few thats it not worth it to do, but i love the element of surprise. Just looking to see what the buffs here think and really what im looking for is what im going to need to pick up in order to do this. the LS2 engine im picking up is not compatable with pre-06 ECMS so i know that its going to be something that needs to be replaced...what else am i going to be running into doing this? any help would be greatly appreciated. Constructive critisism only please.

The LS2 is compatible with any ECM, it just depends on what other electronics you use. You can put a manual throttle body on it and just make sure the coil packs will work with the harness and ECM you're using.
this is exactly what i am planning on doing my 94 t/a, i am going to pull the whole engine and computer and install everything, new computer and all. i just am curious, do you have the lt1 6 speed? will they work with each other? Thats the only question i have.
