MAF or not?
The stupid MAF looks ugly and is a limit for my ideas how to route the intake.
I know I don't need the MAF if I delete it in the computer program.
I don't really know why I should keep the MAF.
But it has to be some reason since it came with the engine from the manufacturer.
Does anyone know why to keep the MAF??
The MAF Setup is a better setup for normal or mid setups.. SD wouold better fit you if you were racing more. But many do run a SD setup on there DD's.
Suggest you research it in the PCM Diagnostics & Tuning forum.
Here is one thread to start you off..

The computer then caculates an air flow (as seen with scan tool) so other tables that are based on air flow still work just fine.
This is what it looks like on my scanner, anyone chim in if they know different. I read on a post somewhere that they thought trans problems could come up if MAF was disabled. I dont know.
From what I saw tonight , Speed Density worked just fine, Fuel Trims were within 5% Bone stock motor.
