What year wiring is the best to convert???

Got a quick question. Ive got a 98 pcm and harness and an 02 pcm and harness. I know 98 pin outs are different but which one will be easier to mod?

Go with the '02 definitely, 98 is kind of an oddball.

Modifying the harness is about the same effort either way.

The 02 has a better faster computer.

The 98 has odball pinouts, wiring and a slower computer.

If it is going to be a bolt on or heads and cam motor it doesn`t really matter which one you use.

If you are going to try and get every last bit of power and are thinking of going with forced induction then I would say to use the 02 PCM/harness.
