Coolant Sensor Leaks

Coolant Sensor Leaks Have the 1/2 inch 67 coolant sensor in an S&P 12mm to 1/2 adapter in the pass head. Did not put any kind of thread seelant on either piece, and it weeps. What is the best way to seal this leak without messing with the ground for the sensor? We are thinking of just running some bars leak through it once the engine is running, but are open to suggestions. Opinions???
If the adapter and sensor will not stop leaking and if trying to use sealer or tape is causing problem with the readings.
I would check with your gauge manufactor to see if they have a sensor/sender that has both ground and feeding connectors. That is what I did and just ran the ground all the way back to the same or common ground as the gauge.
