Fuel rail question

I am working on a swap into a 72 firebird. I was looking at things and thought it would be easier if the fuel rail input was on the passenger side. so question is can you reverse sides on the rail? Now it it definitely is not neccessary but would make everything cleaner.

2nd question is what fuel line size is everyone using? Is 3/8" enough or should I go to 1/2". Motor will be more or less stock.

3/8 is plenty, and lots of people have reversed the rails with no problems.

I have flipped my fuel rail had using a 3/8" hard line from the back to fornt in my Chevelle without any problems.

Fuel rail ones? no.. you can reuse them, TQ is 89 in lbs. (not feet).
