8.1 Chevy oR 6.0
8.1 Chevy oR 6.0 I was wondering if a 8.1 with fit into my 2000 silverado with a 5.3? Or iam better just using a 6.0 and building it up? And anyone put bucket seats in the rear of their silverado?

Ok, well as long as everyone's giving their two cents:
Take a 6.0, bore and stroke it to 408, toss on some heads and a cam and turbo that sucker. It'll blow most things out of the water.
More realistically though, get a 6.0 due to simple parts availablity and more reasonable price. Car Craft did a feature on a 6.0 with a carb and a cam and it made 485 dyno HP. If in the future you wish to make more power, you can always do that with the suggestions mentioned above. .
