what is the best cam to put in a stock ls1 98 model vette also will a ls-7 cam fit into it and if so what do i have too change

 

LS7 cam wont work cause the came sensor wheel is at the wrong end. There is no such thing as the best cam. You need to think of what you want out of the motor. What power you looking for what RPM you want to turn it, and do you care about idle or driveabilty?
