Re: Fuel Line Question There's a couple of ways. The most direct is to remove the existing end, and replace it with another fitting which is barbed male on one end and your desired fitting on the other (AN, pipe, flare, whatever).
The nylon tubing can be softened by letting it sit in some boiling water for a few minutes (10 or so). Once soft, you can pull out the old fitting and stick in the new one. It's tricky, because you have to work quickly and obviously the tubing is boiling hot. You're also supposed to be able to reshape the tubing while it's hot, although I didn't have too much luck with that.
