Default Speed sensor for 4l60e

Putting LS1/4l60e into '67 corvette and using VDO guages. Where and how does the speedometer line go into this tranny??? Thanks, John

Ok, im not an expert or anything and i dont know what VDO gauges are but the 4l60e, well mine anyway, sends it speed to the PCM and then the PCM sent out a signal to the gauge. The PCM using speed to calculate load on the engine i think.

the pcm gets a signal from the vss on the trans. tailshaft,it sends the signal to the tach speedo ect, it can be reprogramed in the pcm.
