Engine frame bracket- Which one?
Thanks,

Either the low perf or high perf smallblock frame brackets will work as long as you have the correct mounts to match them. The low perf brackets use the "short and wide" early GM mounts, and the high perf brackets use the "tall and narrow" early GM mounts. My understanding is that the high perf mounts raise the engine about half an inch so that an 8inch harmonic balancer will clear the sway bar.
I'm using the low perf brackets on my '68, with ATS-style mount plates and Energy Suspension short&wide mounts. I had to do some clearancing on one of the ES mount since ATS uses them upside down. Apparently some people have to trim one mount and some don't, and I haven't heard of a definitive reason why.
