cruise control now since our great search eng. does not work I need to reask this question.
some one here said you can use any of the gm modules v6, 4cyl and used the example such as the s10 ones and they will work on the ls1. but my question is to save the most hassle is there any of modules that have a throttle cable the correct length at the TB I can use. this way I won't need to order the cable on top of everything. besides the f-body ones.

The cable is interchangeable. However the wiring varies some from vehicle platform to platform. So it is best to pick a vehicle and wire it for that type of vehicle and then use a cable that is close to what you need. Most of us s10 guys with ls' use the oem control module and a 4.3 v6 cable. It gives you about three feet of room from the tb to mount it.
