67 c-10/ ls1 headers

67 c-10/ ls1 headers i've found a set of ss headers for a o1 -o4 vette VERY cheap, was wondering if anyone has went this route. i've seen that most people are using 00 f-body headers by notching the frame a little, but i would rather not since its already been powdercoated. or if anyone has any other ideas. or i have thought about pitting an ls1 flange on a set of headers that fit my truck, then if i can find someone to ceramic coat them...

I'm swapping a 5.3 in my 65 c-10 same frame as yours. Im using pacesetters for the 02 camaro. The d/s collector angles out too much and will need to be modified. I havent figured exactly what i'm going to do to fix this just yet but they do give good ground clearance. You can use the either style engine mounts (older or newer) and no frame grinding..

Yeah, the Camaro longtubes - regardless of manufacturer, it seems - all have a kick towards the outside of the car on the driver's side, and depending on your mounting position this can be a significant problem.
However, I remember from years back on the truck board that apparently Chevelle big block headers fit the BBC well in these trucks. Perhaps a set of these with a LS1 flange put on would work?
The price is certainly right...
However, I don't know how hard/easy of a fit the LS1 flange is on BBC headers. Also, has anyone ever tried Silverado headers?
