5.3 carb swap
5.3 carb swap Has anyone here done a 5.3 or 6.0 swap into a older truck?
Here is my idea take a 5.3 or 6.0 Long block and use the Gm performance parts carb manifold and msd ignition box that mates to the coil packs.
The truck I am thinking of doing the swap on is a 1988 3/4 ton 4X$ Suburban with a 5.7 TBI and Th400 Tranny.
I can pick up a running 5.3 for $400 sell the parts I don't need like the intake and the TB.
As long as the 5.3 is out I might as well upgrade the cam I am aiming for 400rwhp
