Valve covers with coils inside
Ryan, just out of curiosity, What do you estimate the temperature to be inside the cover after say 30 minutes or so of sustained driving?

Not sure, but less than 250 I'll bet.
When we were testing the prototype covers on our Escalade test mule, the owner would try and heat the engine/covers up as much as possible then pop the hood and check the valve cover temperature with a laser temp gun. The highest he ever read was 220 I believe.
We used that same Escalade still equipped with the same prototype covers to tow our SEMA vehicle back and forth this year. Still no problems 2+ years from the initial installation.
