get the rear subframe bushings there.

cool swap, bad *** Z, i'll be checking this out regularly.

also theres a 02 SS harness and a LS2 GTO pan for sale in the for sale forum by the same guy, you'll need both unless your are going dry sump.

Thanks for the compliments, i have checked a few of your videos out on youtube.....exceptional skills!

I've got the oil pan and pick up covered......I got extremely lucky on this deal, which i am probably picking up next weekend.

I called my older brother who owns a speed shop, the story goes like this....

They had a guy with a CTS-V come in and wanted an LS7. My bro installs the dry sump LS7 setup into this CTS-V and the LS2 out of the 'V' sits around the shop for a while. Another customer walks in with an F-body and wants the LS2. They swap the LS2 into this guy's camaro and set his LS1 in the back.......my brother needed a good ls1 crank a while back so he robbed it out of the ls1 motor. Now the ls1 is sitting there with the GTO pan and pick up (they had to use the ls1 pan on the f-body car) complete, minus crank. My bro said I could have it for 250 bucks! If im correct, thats roughly the price of the GTO pan its self.....

Update

I last week on the 23rd I traded the old 95 240 Base for a really low mileage, clean 94 Honda Accord. I sold the Honda Accord last friday night for $3,000. If you do that math thats $700 more than I paid for the 95 240 that I traded straight up for

Now we move on to saturday. I look on my local forum to find some kid has posted up an add from his local paper (about an hour from me) What do I find but a 2-owner 97 240sx SE. I call and its an older gentlemen....I decided to make an impromptu trip right then and there.

I showed up, the car looked great, albeit needing cleaning. The couple were very friendly and easy to deal with. We talked for a little while, and i decided to buy the car. The elderly lady even gave us 20 dollars to get some dinner for the drive home!

Now onto the details

1997 240SX Se
121k Miles
Auto
2-owner, super clean

I bought this car for $3900!!!

I am so much more happy spending a little extra to pick up this car considering I dont have to throw a rear end in it, do the 5-lug, and every last mechanical/electrical piece is fully functional! Its so comfortable to drive and looks a whole lot better than the 95-96 body style IMO
