Alternators? Vette vs. Camaro...Which one?

Alternators? Vette vs. Camaro...Which one? What are the amp output of the Vette vs. Camaro? Will the Camaro harness plug into the Vette alternator? How does the computer need to be reprogrammed to accept the Vette alternator? Or does it? Thanks in advance, Ed 
Re: Alternators? Vette vs. Camaro...Which one? I know for a fact that the Corvette alt has a bigger output. I can't remember the actual values, but I have one of each sitting in the shop 30 miles from here. The plugs are the same I believe. Not sure on the mounting points though.
