Default Reinventing the Wheel

Hi All

I am after some advice as I really don't want to reinvent the wheel.

I have a 1998 LS1 taken out of a crash damaged car and am rebuilding it to put into a T70.

The engine will have to be NA due to space restrictions so I will have to stroke it to a 382.

CNC or Thunder Racing heads, options and ideas on them would be a great help. I will as a matter of course replace the MAF sensor, intake manifold and the rest of the easy mods.

Cam help would also be appreciated, but there is a lot of info on this board anyway, but a good cam suitable for a stroker would be appreciated.

I have already removed the power steering and air con assembly as these are not needed so I have reduced the parasitic losses of these already.

The car will be used for hill climbs and sprints and weighs around 850Kgs and to be competitive, I will need to be in the 500hp range.

Thanks for your help.

Rob

However the question is about engine internals, not the car so I did think that the internal engine forum was the correct place for it.

You may wish to PM Fireball to have your thread moved back, or be more specific that you want engine information. You post seesm more to be about what accessories, to use etc.
