i read over on a 2nd gen forum that the new gto headers will work with no mods on a 2nd gen f-body with a ls1 would like to know if anyone has heard this

over at nastyz28.com look in the hitech swap section and look for a thraed 79z ls1-t56 thats my car and a few posts down we are talking about the gto headers but would like to find some more info

We are currently working on a 2nd gen F-body kit here at Edelbrock. It uses the same headers as the 68 - 72 GM A-body along with engine mounting plates, the headerback is being developed at this time.

thanks for the info but would like to know if the headers for the 2nd gen will work with other engine trans mount kits? and do you have a time when the headers might be done so that i can plan on what to buy will be needing them in a few months thanks for your help.
