flywheel /spacer help needed

flywheel /spacer help needed i am installing a 2004 5.3 in my 1970 k5 blazer.i got the spacer from gm for the crankshaft(because it was free!!)
trying to bolt it up to a turbo 350 trans.
if i use the stock 5.3 flywheel and 350 converter,the spacer keeps the trans from mounting flush.not sure what im doing wrong?anyone help me?

In what order did you install the flywheel and spacer?
If your using the 5.3L dished flywheel you should install the flywheel and then the spacer behind it.
If you use the 6.0L flat flywheel you install the spacer in front of the flywheel.
If your using the 5.3L dished flywheel you should install the flywheel and then the spacer behind it.
