Default Deleted wiring and OBDII code question.

With all the deleted wiring and sensors (fuel tank, air pump, rear O2 sensors, etc) in standard engine swap, do you end up with a whole bunch of codes showing up when you plug into the OBDII port?

Yes, most swaps end up having to tune a few things out, basically Vats, o2's, fuel pressure sensor, egr codes, air codes. Just to name a few.

Depending on what things you use (Cats and whatnot), you will need to have a few things deleted to get the SES light to turn off. Not a big deal, you can do it yourself with a program like LS1Edit or you can send it out to companies like Speartech and Wait4Me. This is also a good time to have a few variables taken into acount such as your rear gearing and tire hight.

Do it myself? I can barely put a CD in my computer!
Can you ive me a rough idea of what's needed (hardware/software) and what's involved?
Or would it be more cost effective for a 1 time install to just send it to speartech and have them eliminate the specific items?

Starting from scratch on install one, I would highly recomend you have a profesional (like John at Speartech or Jessie at Wait4Me) take care of the initial programming for you. One less thing to worry about, and pretty cost effective.
