advice/help/info Long story short I got screwed over by some work done to my 01 SS and my motor is shot. I'm not to familiar with engines but I love my car and don't want to part with it. My question is...Would it be better to get a brand new ls1 from a chevy house for $3200 or wait and try to find a used Ls2 for around the same price. I'm not even sure that an Ls2 would work in my car but I have been told that it would. I'm also weary about buying a used motor since every time I find one someone is always telling me that "you can never know how many miles it really has it..." or "something could be wrong with it that you can't see'' or "your not going to want to mess with that swap..." I wish it could just be simple. What do you think? Any advice would help or information on the subject. Thanks.
