fuel pump problems
fuel pump problems my s10 did not want to run tonight it has a 99 ls1 with a walbro 255 pump and a corvette filter regulator and it was like it was not getting good pressure i could turn the key on and off a couple of times and it would start and run for about 5 seconds then quit any ideas and any better pumps or regulators
it run fine all that day but when i got home from riding it would not run to pull off the trailer and you can hear the pump run i just dont know if the pump has gotten weak or the regulator has gone bad

Check your fuel pressure.....oh and don`t jump for the expensive stuff right away. I had the 2" piece of hose that connects the pump to the sending unit blow out before....it had a similar presentation. The fuel pump ran, but there was only 15-20psi
Pickup a fuel pressure gauge.. it should help you resolve some if not all of your fuel pressure problems. Even a cheap one just to use as a test tool is good.. I paid $10 for one and it helped me find and understand what was going on with my C4 Vette..
Follow some of the test procedures in the manuals for year engine, ECM and/or wiring setup that you have installed. Most test will do the same tests, just might be in a different order or step.
