240sx 408 build Well this months to start but I finally got everything in and the build has begun. We ran into quit a few problems out of our hands. First I had two rod bearings scratched in shipping, one retainer clip broken, missing bolts, wrong head bolts, and few other things but luckily everything has worked out to my advantage.
Here are some pics of the motor build. Hoping to install this week. maybe tomorrow or Tuesday.
Specs
408 LQ9 (3500 HD Silverado motor 6.0L bored and stroked to a 6.8L)
All ARP connecting bolts/Crank Bolt/Head Bolts
Eagle 4 inch stroker forged crank
Eagle H Beam forged rods
Diamond Forged 4.030 pistons 2cc reliefs
Diamond 1.5mm/1.5mm/3mm rings gapped for Nitrous
6.0L stage 2 ported heads
Patriot Dual Spring Valve Springs
Custom Grind Comp Cam 246/250 .631/.631 lift
Double Roller Timing assembly
Ported LS6 pump
Clevite Performance Bearings
