LS Platform w/t56 into a 68 Firebird Has any one tried or knows of a forum member that has? I am tearing apart the bird, begining to order parts now. Could I stick to a conversion that was made to a 67, 68 Camaro and be safe with that? Thanks!
I have a friend that is just about completed his LS2/T56 into his bird..! I don't know if he has posted any project threads..
But at this stage of the Gen III and IV engines.. just about every type car has been given a LSx swap now.. especially any GM Classic, Rod and Race Car. You just have to research what you want to know on this forum and the Internet...
The 1st gen Firebirds are a 1st Gen F-Body, just about everything will swap over as will as the 68-74 X-Body (ie Nova) Front/Rear suspendsion/drive line. So you should be ok with using a 67-69 Camaro kit.
