Help: What's this?

You're looking at an LS2 crate motor. This is obviously a vacuum tap on the intake manifold. Connected to it by one of The General's perverted quick connects is a plastic line that leads to some sort of solenoid switch mounted on the passenger side. Is this part of the evap. system or what? Can I get rid of it?

It is the EVAP vacuum line.

Just cap it off with a vacuum cap. This is the evap solenoid and associated tubing.
