LS1 in 72 Chevelle! Hello everybody im a newb here and was wondering if anybody can direct me to any site that have information on doing ls1 engine swaps. Im researching on swapping my chevelle's motor out for an ls1. I am also interested in mating it with a t56 tranny. Any info would be greatly appriciated!

Re: LS1 in 72 Chevelle! This message board is as useful as anyone site can ever be. If you want very specific play by play info, check out John bedzl's (sp-sorry john!) site, its great, I got alot of info from it over the past few years.

Re: LS1 in 72 Chevelle! Check out the last two copies of Super Chevy or their web site for a 70 Chevelle LS1/LS6 install. Also Street and Performance's LS1 into a 70 Chevelle w/T56 at www.hotrodlane.cc
I hope to put my LS1/4L60E into my 72 Chevelle Wagon in next weekend. After I wire it and run the fuel line I hope to fire it up in a couple of weeks.
