Should I get it??? Well, I've finally decided I'm going to put an LQ4 (Vortec 6.0L Engine) into my 86 K-5
and I came across one for $1500 plus $150 for shipping and that would be for a complete motor with accessories, wiring harness, ECU, etc. and only 24K miles on the motor
Should I take this offer?
I know people have done this swap, how did you work out for you and would you recommend doing it. I like these Gen III motors and want one so just looking for some honest opinions

Unless you find an even better deal closer, I see no reason not to go ahead and do it! There may be a few challenges here and there, but the cost and the milage are good, and you will definately enjoy the new found torque!
