To show how lame I can be, I'll bump this old thread up.
I've purchased the following for a carbed 5.3 swap:
5.3 LM7 shortblock
862 heads
TSP 220/228 low lift cam
Holley 750/ Victor Intake from buddy
B&M Flexplate, will reuse my TH350
Various 4th gen accessories
I'll be buying motor mounts and the Holley oil pain, and I think then we are ready to go. Planning to try some 4th gen headers.
I'll take some pics when the parts look a little more interesting. Plan to swap in the next 4-5 weeks.
