LSx 3rd gen camaro
Hi everyone, i have a 91 chevy camaro vert, with the shitty tbi305 and 700.
I just got a complete lq4 out of a 2002 surburban, complete with harness all connectors and accessories for 500 bucks. Neways i need the compression ratio up due to the dished pistons, and the cruddy iron heads. Im lookin at 243 ls6 heads, maybe sum dart pro 62cc or a suggestion i got was the l92s milled down .030 to 64cc. Im lookin at 400 rwhp goin through a 4l60. Any ideas for heads, or even cam???

Nice Score on the price! Im knee deep in my LM7 (5.3L) swap into my iroc.
Just figure id mention, the only way that engine will fit in your car with that intake + Accessories is if you use a 3" or larger cowl.
Since i wanted to retain a stock look with just bigger wheels (though its a hell of alot more then just that), im using an LS6 intake, F-body accessories & fuel system.
Your lucky that you have a cable TB. Ive got an electronic throttle body, which means i need to use electronic pedals to save me re-working my entire harness. I painted my block Chevy Orange, and ive already got the aluminum heads.
Also note that you will need to change your oil pan unless you dont mind shearing the bottom off the truck pan the first time you drive.
I did a little writeup on truck motors, see here:
