clutch upgrade
So I know since I'm going to be swapping this, I might as well get a new clutch, as its easy to do with the engine out. But kinda confused on some options.
OEM LS7 from vette comes around $500
Centerforce is $599

Or should I just go with something like this and leave the flywheel alone?

What motor do you already have? If you have an LS1, contact Matt at SDPC and get the LS7 Clutch Kit. It has the LS2 flywheel, LS7 Clutch, New Slave, Pilot, and he can include all new bolts for about $550 shipped (give or take a little, my memory is not so good). Works great and feels nice.

I burn up the stock clutch in GTO whenever I clutch kick and it sucks, plus he gets pissed at me for doing it. I got exedy now and it holds up to clutch kicks all day, just not at the same power level as LS2 and Exedy hyperdoubles are $$.
Will the LS7 withstand the abuse of clutch kicking on a track?
