swap wont idle?
swap wont idle? i can tfind any vacuum leaks and its not throwing any codes. the tps and maf are reading good on the scanner.
i let it get up to temp (about 210) thinking it needed to relearn, but it wont idle.
if i hold the throttle open it will run smooth down to about 1200 rpm but when it gets close to 1000, it surges!!!
anybody got any ideas?
and it has a ported throttle body, and i am thinking that could be part of it so if i can get my hands on a stock one im going to try that.

is it carbed or Fuel injected? If its FI then the programming could be not quite right who did the tune? if the tune is good then it could be the IAC.

i dont know who tuned it. but it was tuned for the heads and cam. i have to track down the guy i got the motor from and see what i can find out about the tune etc. but i am also going to pull out the iac and at least clean it.
