Resource for LS1 sensor identification?
Resource for LS1 sensor identification? I'm working on an LS1/T56 swap into a '68 Camaro. I purchased a totaled 2002 TA that I'm using as a donor and also currently working on parting out/dismantling here.
There are a number of sensors that are easy to identify (TPS,IAT,MAF,MAP,Coolant Temp) although there are others that leave me wondering what their purpose is. Is there any resource that someone could point me at to determine what the unknown sensors are? I'm trying to pull the harness in preparation to pull the engine this weekend and am labeling everything I possibly can to make harness modifications simpler.
In addition, are there any ways to visually identify what a connector was used for? I hope this doesn't happen, although I'm trying to prepare myself for the occasion when a label may fall off of the connector and I don't notice it.
