Yeah, mine never runs for more than a split second.

Im calling wait4meperforamance to see if I can just send this PCM back and get a F body PCM like I had asked for in the first place.

did you bleed the fuel rail? I had pressure but was air bound .

Just bought a MAP sensor, no luck.

Ill go try to bleed the rails right now.

By some strange chance, when you wired the PCM, did you wire the key on power to a source that only has power while you are cranking or the fuel pump relay to something that has power only while cranking?????
Just thought that may be something to look at!

this could be very possible. like you have your ign hot while in cranking but not in the run position.

Everything is hot for sure..

Here is what HPTuners is showing is happening when it fires...



This is meaning that it is shutting my injectors off completely, which should mean the problem lies solely within the computer and the VATS not being happy without a BCM, because its a truck computer.. lost.

It might be a truck PCM thing, my 5.3 only runs as long as your car does, about 1/2 second. I think my F-body LS1 ran longer without a vats bypass module. If you had wait4me do your tune I'd either send it back like you were saying, or at least call them and ask them what to do. But the PCM is compatable with your motor as long as its tuned for it.

Yeah, I guess what i am limited to doing is sending that back and getting a car PCM. I already tried to upload other tunes onto it but the Trucks OS# doesn't match anything I can find.

Kinda pisses me off too because I have to use another 2 credits from my HPTuners to tune another computer that they.. hopefully.. will send me. I asked for a LS1 PCM with a tune on it for everything I have. Ive heard some fishy stuff about them, and alot of good stuff too, so lets see if they will stand behind their goody goodness. I tried calling all day today and couldn't get anyone to answer the phones. Ill try tommorow.

I have been saying this LOTS. But my car did the same thing. Problem was that it need the MAF plugged in.

Everything is plugged in, The MAF, MAP, everything. Even if, the graph I just posted clearly shows that the injectors are instantly being shut off.

This means a computer issue, which I believe the truck PCM is not satisfied without a BCM. I dont have a BCM, nor will I get one. I am calling W4MP tommorow and im going to ask nicely if they will take this worthless computer back and send me the one I asked for.

FIGURED IT OUT!!

Problem lies within the ignition wiring!! I have to hold the key over towards the "start" position, just slightly, only when the engine is on?, for it to run.. but it runs!!! WOO HOOO

It only does it when the engine is running... I had my Run and Start straight, they just weren't working after the key went back to run for some reason.. only when the engine was on.... I dunno why, I just changed my run 12V and it worked, I dunno.

Only way I could have figured this out is by freak accident.. I held the key over towards the start spot after it fired.. not all the way to activate the starter, just a tad..

Like I said earlier, you must of powered up one of the powers to the computer with a lead that only has power while the key is in the start position.

Nope, I even stuck the voltmeter to it after I figured out what was going on...

12V in run position, 12V on my start also.. let the key fall back to the run position, still 12V on my run wire...

This would only... for some freakish reason.. shut that 12V run off WHILE the engine was running.. Crazy.
