Help, car won't charge! I got in the celica today and it fired right up as normal but I noticed the lights were a bit dimmer than normal and the voltage gauge was only showing 11.5V. I drove it to work and back and then started looking at things. Unfortunately most things check out and I'm not sure why it won't charge, any help is appreciated.
All the wiring is tight and there is no corrosion. The alternator turn on wire is showing .2 ohms resistance between the alternator and the pcm. The pcm is getting 12.26 volts with the car off, all fuses are good. The red turn on wire is getting 9.8 volts with the key on engine off. The car still runs great but it's just running off the battery and I'd really like to get it figured out so I can drive the car again. Any ideas?
