How about on a stock 3rd gen dash? Can it be reset to 0?

only thing i know to do is find a low miler or try buy a new one, tell them something broke your old cluster.

im not a pro with that stuff i just thought maybe a program could be made to fool the odometer. surly theres a way to isolate it from the rest of the cluster electronically and input something.

255 is the max vehicle speed that can be run over the bus to my knowledge It will take a LONG time.

I'm betting that the odometer can be reset at the dealer. Like the one guy said that he had a cluster replaced and the tech put in the wrong mileage and the dealer corrected it. Now for the reallity check, I'm betting the mileage can't not just be reset in an easy 123 step with Tech II, cause all the techs would be resetting the mileage on their own person vehicles. I am thinking that you have to do the direct satillite link with GM to get the job done, this would kill all the dealer scams and why they would require a DNA sample before they will complete it.

so how would this work on like a engine swap G machine kinda thing? car has x many miles on it and the engine has THIS many...bla bla bla..gotta be a way to do this LEGITIMATELY!!!
